Leave the lasting gift of friendship

Our services are more in demand today than ever before and as we move into the future, that demand looks set to grow even further. Over 9000 people aged over 65 live alone in Southwark and this figure has been predicted to increase to 11,000 by 2033.† In addition, Southwark is ranked sixth for loneliness out of the 32 London boroughs amongst people over 65, and 13th highest out of 326 local authority areas nationally.††

A legacy to you, us and the whole community

As a local charity, Link Age Southwark relies on the support of people like you. We were established in 1993 and for over a quarter of a century, we have been building friendships between older people and volunteers. Our history is extremely important to us, as is our future, and we need your support to help us maintain our range of support services for older people and people living with dementia in the community.

Writing a Will is an opportunity to set out your wishes on who should benefit from your estate, allowing you to make provisions for family, friends and the charities you support.

By leaving a gift to Link Age Southwark in your Will, you can help us to ensure continue our work supporting the local older community continues - creating friendships and preventing isolation and loneliness in people's lives, long into the future.

"Half a million older people go at least 5 or 6 days a week without seeing or speaking to anyone at all"
