On April 7th, 5 dedicated runners will lace up their shoes and hit the streets of London to take part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon. The runners participating have pledged their miles to support our cause and raise funds for the work we do at Link Age Southwark. Let's meet our runners!

We have our two students from Alleyn’s Sixth Form college, Theo Mellor and Eve Hampshire. One of our brand new volunteers Francesca Clark who will soon be supporting us as a befriender, along with flat mate and friend Pheobe Bowell. Last but of course not least we have Graham Stanton, a long-term volunteer and digital buddy who will be fundraising for us this year.

These runners are coming together to support a cause that touches the lives of so many. As they train and prepare for the marathon, they're not just running for themselves – they're running for the older community in Southwark who deserve love, companionship and support.

You can show your support for these incredible runners and the work we do at Link Age Southwark by donating to their fundraising efforts, or spreading the word about their participation in the event. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that no one feels alone or isolated in their later years. Click the links below to donate;
